Hygienius Features

Portable and convenient
Designed to encourage hand washing, it can be strategically sited for the most effective use as it is completely portable and self-contained.

With no taps, no levers or buttons, the hot wash is initiated by the 'Bluesensor' when hands are placed in the bowl. This results in a low pressure spray wash that is both delightful to use and fully hygienic.

In addition, the elegant style and the illuminated spray head and sign make the Hygienius^® uniquely eye catching.
The Hygienius^® is fully automatic and only needs a 13 amp power point for operation.

Environmentally friendly
The unique control of low pressure water delivery system intrinsic in the Hygienius^®, means that they use less than one quarter of the water needed for a ten second wash by any other conventional ‘plumbed in’ system.

The instantaneous heater too is incredibly energy efficient. As the water is only heated as required and then only to the optimum hand washing temperature of 40/45’C, very little heat energy wasted.

A conservative estimate for the energy used in a ten second wash is less a sixth of that needed for any other type of hot wash.

Hygienius Maintenance

Cleaning instructions
It is recommended that your Hygienius^® is cleaned every day.

• Disconnect and empty the twin bag TEALtainerTM completely by tipping into a sluice or foul water drain.
• Flush out the waste water compartment (red cap) with fresh water.
• Refill the fresh water compartment (white cap).
• Wipe all surfaces with a soft cloth using a mild detergent.
• Replace twin bag TEALtainerTM in base.
• Replace the 13 amp plug in the adjacent socket and the unit will automatically run a 10 second cold water purge.

Disinfection
It is recommended that your Hygienius^® is disinfected every other day.

Storage
Before placing in storage:-­
Operate the purge button until water flow stops.
Empty the TEALtainer^TM completely, clean and wipe down.
Carry out disinfection routine.
Ensure that the unit is kept free from frost.

Replacement of bags
Replacement waste and fresh water bags can be purchased only from TEAL. Do not use any substitutes.
